It may have taken a month and a half and nine games, but things are finally coming together for Peachtree City MOBA. After starting the season 0-6-1, MOBA found themselves at the bottom of the table and searching for an answer. Enter Edmundo Robinson and Todd Fidler. The two midfielder/forwards have been at the center of MOBA's strong run of success over the last three matches, and they look to keep their rolls going into the offseason. Having finally earned their first victory in almost a year on June 21st in Nashville, MOBA needed to fix their home issues if they hoped to fix their season. Returning home to meet Tri-Cities was not going to make that task easy, however. Having played the Otters twice this season, Tri-Cities defeated MOBA in both matches by just one goal, but both of those matches were in Johnson City. As has been said for many years, there is no place like home. For Peachtree City, they need that to ring true over their final four home matches if they hope to dig themselves out of a shallow hole at the bottom of the table. It won't take much to pull MOBA back toward the middle of the table, and a victory against Tri-Cities would be just what they need to get started. After finally getting their first victory of the season on the road against Nashville SC in a 3-2 thriller, Peachtree City went into Irmo, South Carolina with the hopes of getting a second against a desperate SC United side. Hopes don't always equal wins, however, as SC United's Bradlee Baladez scored in the seventeenth minute and MOBA could never find their equalizer in a match that epitomized MOBA's early season goal-scoring troubles. Tennessee has not been a fun place to play for Peachtree City in 2017. Following a 6-1 loss in Nashville on opening night and a 1-0 loss in Johnson City on match day five, MOBA hoped to right the ship during their second and final trip to the Tri-Cities. Taking on an Otters team that has been streaking after an 0-3-0 start, MOBA needed to bring their A-game to the hostile environment. The match started off very uneventful, as both sides tried to feel each other out. There were chances here and there, but neither team could find a breakthrough. After thirty minutes of back and forth, aggressive play, it was the Otters who got on the board first. After MOBA failed to clear out a cross, Tri-Cities' Tresor Mbuyu put his foot through it and drove it far post, leaving keeper Nick Nelson out to dry. Nelson, whose only appearance of the season was against Nashville in the 6-1 loss, needed to get out to a good start, and a thirtieth minute goal could not have been good the young...

Six matches have been played, and nothing has gone to plan for this Peachtree City MOBA team. Five goals have been scored, and they have been scored on fifteen times, while only recording one point from a road draw against South Georgia Tormenta FC. Things need to pick up, and quickly. Less than two weeks ago, MOBA traveled to Johnson City to take on the Otters looking to take advantage of a struggling home side, but instead, an early goal proved to be a winner, as MOBA lost 1-0. This time around, things will surely be different. June 13th marked MOBA's third home match of the season, but home had been anything but kind to them. Falling in both previous matches to Mississippi Brilla FC and Nashville SC U23, respectively, MOBA had only scored one time in those two matches thanks to the brilliance of Khallil Stewart. It has not been the best season for Peachtree City thus far. Heading into Johnson City following a 2-1 home loss against Nashville SC, MOBA needed three points desperately if they hoped to have a shot at making the playoffs. Scoring goals has been a struggle for Peachtree City, and that would need to change if they hoped to steal victory in Johnson City. Pressure off the opening whistle was essential for MOBA in their quest for three points, and that went out the window quickly. Right off the bat, the Otters were on the offensive, and just a couple minutes in, Tri-Cities saw a corner and capitalized. Winger Conner Haney stepped up to take the corner, crossing the ball perfectly into the box, where center-back Sam Jenkins headed it home and put the Otters up one. Four games into the season, and things have not gone quite to plan for Peachtree City. Sitting at 0-3-1 on the year and currently holding tenth in the division, things need to turn around in a hurry, and MOBA may have just found the break they were looking for. Match five of the PDL season pits Peachtree City MOBA on the road against a struggling Otters team in Johnson City, as Tri-Cities, who are also looking for their first win, play their first match at home. Following a heart-breaking home loss to Nashville SC that saw MOBA cut the lead to one behind the ten-man away side, but eventually fall 2-1. Khallil Stewart recorded his first goal in a MOBA shirt, and Matthew Wooling notched his second assist of the season, however nothing went right for MOBA in the closing twenty minutes, as shot after shot went high or wide.
