11 weeks. 13 games. This is it. Peachtree City MOBA's inaugural season is one game away from it's conclusion. Rarely does a team qualify for the playoffs in its first year, and MOBA is no exception. But this season was not about making the playoffs. It wasn't about winning a championship. This 2016 USL PDL season was about showing up for every game, and putting our heart and soul into every single match. It was about Sam Ellis breaking your speakers every time MOBA scored. It was about the inability of most other team's livestream announcers to pronounce the name Taku Mashingaidze. It was about being a team with pride. It hasn't been the easiest season for Peachtree City as they sit at 3 wins, 8 losses, and 2 draws, with a goal differential of -9. Despite any adversity they've faced, from having their hearts shattered in the first game of the year in a 2-1 loss, to falling to the defending division champs twice, MOBA never let it get to them, and they made...

People love sports. One of the best things about sports is rivalry. The grit and grind showed when two bitter rivals face off is amazing to watch, and always makes for a good game. People love to watch the Celtics and Hawks play after the historic runs both teams had back in the 50's and 60's. Everybody loves a good Eagles - Steelers game, and one of the newest rivalries is the one built between in-state opponents Peachtree City MOBA and South Georgia Tormenta FC. The two teams were introduced this season, and nobody expected much, except that a rivalry would form between the two. And that it did. The two teams faced off in early June 2016, and six yellow cards were distributed throughout a physical match that was ultimately won by MOBA, 1-0. This time, the game moved to MOBA's turf, as the struggling Peachtree City team looked for a redemption game against the hot Tormenta. Peachtree City MOBA. The football club that is bringing together the city of Peachtree City and the surrounding area through association football. Created in 2013 as a soccer academy, the Premier Development League granted Volker Harms and the city of Peachtree City a franchise in 2015, and through the support of the fans and the talented players, plus the leadership of Jordan Davis, Mr. Harms, and the rest of the MOBA staff, Peachtree City looks to become a force to be reckoned with in the South Atlantic Division, and the entire PDL, with an overall goal of bringing a championship to the Atlanta-area, but most importantly, supplying the players with a world-class facility and organization to pursue their own professional desires. With the construction of the MOBA Soccer Academy, and the MOBA Soccer Stadium nearing completion, Peachtree City will truly be a part of the sporting world for the first time. #MOBAProud.
