No season can be completely defined by how well the pre-season goes. It is a good measuring stick for potential success, but there is no telling what twists of fate a season may hold. A team who loses every match can still have a chance to have a strong season, however a good start can do wonders for a team's confidence going forward. With that said, Peachtree City got off to a scorching start, completing feats that are difficult to do in ten matches, much less just three. Coming off back-to-back wins against Georgia Revolution FC that saw MOBA outscore the Revs 10-1, Peachtree City wanted to continue their great form and head into the PDL season on a high note, and following Saturday's match, they did just as they had hoped. It is without question that every team wants to start their seasons off strong. Whether it's soccer, baseball, basketball, hockey, or any sport, teams use their pre-seasons to gear up and get into the feel of the year with the hope that they can win a few games and get themselves into form. Following last season's struggles, which started off in the pre-season, MOBA wanted to get out to a strong start, and with two of the three matches in the books, they have done just that. Playing two friendlies against Georgia Revolution FC, Peachtree City swept the series by an aggregate score of 10-1, with five different players finding the back of the net in Santiago Moore (2), Todd Fidler (2), Khallil Stewart (1), Ryan King (2), and Tomide Adabale (3).
